You Can Support Walker|West in Many Ways

“As a native of St. Paul’s Summit-University neighborhood, I have known Walker|West throughout its history. Walker|West is a vital organization that directly contributes to the success of students in St. Paul and is an integral component in sustaining our vibrant community.” ─ A  testimonial from St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter III, a former Walker|West student.

Contribute to the Bright Future of a Cultural Icon on Selby Avenue

We have been spreading joy, community and enrichment through music inspired by the African-American experience since 1988. Each year, teaching artists at the academy provide more than 3,200 hours of accessible music education to diverse children and adults across the economic spectrum of life in the Twin Cities. We welcome all who wish to learn – and we can uphold that commitment only with continued community support.

We Welcome Donors, Participants, Partners and Volunteers

Everyone – from foundations and other institutional partners to generous individuals – can help our organization thrive and grow:

  • Your family’s choice to learn music with us can make a difference.
  • A donation to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization may underwrite a scholarship that changes a young person’s life.

Our music community has exciting initiatives in the works. To donate or learn more, call 651-224-2929.
