For 30+ years we’ve provided innovative and accessible music education opportunities for K-12 students, keeping cultural enrichment alive in the Summit-University (historic Rondo) neighborhood of Saint Paul. With a deepened commitment to music education access for students of all ages, from infants to elders, we’re excited about the next 30 years at Walker|West.

We would love to have your support at any level.

You may choose to underwrite a student scholarship, support a student for a full session or make a significant donation toward maintaining and improving our facilities.

Giving is easy and secure (including monthly sustaining gifts – which help our organization have funds we can count our throughout the year).

Our music school is registered with the state of Minnesota as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible.

Do you need a donor card from us to complete your gift? Call our main office to request that one be sent to you by mail.

Equipment Donation

We will also welcome your call or email inquiry if you are considering donating a musical instrument, computer equipment or office supplies. Please use the link below to make this kind of donation.

Equipment and material donations are used within the Walker|West Music Academy facility or community based on need. If you have a particular request for how this donation will be used it may limit our ability to accept your donation. Please allow two weeks for a response regarding requests for donated material.

Once your request is received it will be directed to the appropriate department to assess current need and then a determination will be made. If your request is in demand a staff member will arrange a drop-off time for you to bring the item and/or items to the facility during business hours. All must adhere to COVID-19 precaution policies, by wearing a face covering and maintaining distance. Please avoid bringing items in plastic. Instruments, music books, equipment, etc.
